Drive for Change
Overview
- Drive for Change (DFC) is a vocational and employment-focused programme under PERTAPIS Halfway House (PHH) to equip residents with industry-relevant transport and logistics skills.
- The initiative is supported by the President's Challenge Empowering Life Fund (ELF) to promote gainful employment and smooth societal reintegration.
- Participants can train for Class 3 and Class 4 driving licences and are attached to the PHH Movers Team (an existing occupational therapy programme which provides moving and logistical services to internal and external clients).
- Residents receive hands-on mentoring regarding vehicle maintenance, client handling, and the operations of the logistics industry.
