SINDA Bursary

Monthly bursary for low-income Indian students.

Overview

The SINDA Bursary offers monthly financial assistance to low-income Indian Singaporean or Permanent Resident students enrolled full-time in government or government-aided primary and secondary schools.

Bursary Amounts:

  • Primary level: $110 per month
  • Secondary level: $145 per month

Disbursement continues until November 2025.

Eligible families are also connected to other SINDA programmes and schemes.

Financial assistance for kindergarten/student care

Eligibility details

  • Indian Singaporean or Permanent Resident
  • Studying full-time in a Government or Government-aided school at the primary or secondary level
  • Per Capita Nett Household Income (PCI) of $1,600/month or less
  • Not a recipient of the HOPE Scheme Mandatory documents:
  • Student’s NRIC or Birth Certificate
  • Student’s Bank Account Details
  • Latest 3 months payslips for all working household members
  • Latest 3 months CPF Contribution for non-working adults

How to apply

Submit an online SINDA Bursary Application with all required supporting documents. Only completed and approved applications received on or before the 15th of each month will be processed for payout in the following month. For more information, contact bursary@sinda.org.sg or call 1800 295 3333.
