iTAP - individual Transitional Accommodation Programme
iCARE HUB's iTAP provides immediate transitional shelter and comprehensive aftercare for women in recovery, especially newly released female ex-offenders. It offers counselling, befriending, case management, job placement support, and referrals to aid reintegration.
Overview
- A secular female shelter and residential aftercare programme (iTAP) that provides immediate, short-term accommodation to support residency stability for women in recovery.
- Designed to help newly released female ex-offenders and women recovering from addictions reintegrate into society.
- Wraparound supportive social services include:
- Befriending by female staff and volunteers for one-to-one relational support
- Counselling and therapy (individual, couple, family intervention, group therapy; specialised addiction and marriage counselling; religious counselling upon request)
- Case management focused on housing planning, budgeting, relapse prevention, and working with family/significant others
- Employment support (job placement and vocational upgrading)
- Throughcare and aftercare to follow up on clients' recovery journey
- Referrals to community partners (e.g., CDC, HDB, FSCs, Legal Aid Bureau, religious organisations)
- Supportive social services can also be extended to non-stay clients or women who do not qualify for accommodation under iTAP.
