CREST-Youth (SOAR) by Lakeside Family Services supports youth aged 12–25 and their caregivers with mental health awareness, workshops, talks, support groups, and stress-relieving group activities. It also provides caregiver psychoeducation and connects families to relevant resources.
Overview
CREST-Youth (SOAR) is a Lakeside Family Services programme that supports youth mental well-being through outreach, education, and community-based engagement.
- Supports young people aged 12 to 25 through mental health awareness, early identification, and interactive learning experiences
- Offers youth mental health workshops and talks in schools and with community partners to build knowledge and resilience
- Runs support groups for youths facing similar challenges to share experiences and build a supportive community
- Organises group activities (creative arts, sports, interest-based) to help youths unwind, reduce stress, and build confidence and social connections
- Provides caregivers with psychoeducation on youth mental health and links them to relevant resources and programmes
- Connects youths and caregivers to additional services and tools where needed
