This scheme provides a yearly grant to help cover the initial costs of enrolling a child in a kindergarten, including:
- Registration fee
- Deposit
- School uniform
- Insurance
- Education material fee
- Supplementary fee
Who qualifies
Eligibility details
If your monthly gross household income is $12,000 or less, or per capita income is $3,000 or less (for households with 5 or more members).

How to apply
The kindergarten will assist you with the KiFAS application at the point of your child’s enrolment. You may also apply for a KiFAS reassessment if there is a change in your family’s circumstances during your child’s enrolment at the kindergarten.
