SPD's Employment Support Programme helps persons with physical and sensory disabilities secure and sustain open employment through job support and skills training. The programme is fully subsidised and includes vocational training and employment planning.
Overview
The Employment Support Programme (ESP) by SPD assists people with physical disabilities and sensory impairments such as hearing and vision loss to secure open employment. It provides job support for at least six months to help clients adapt to their work environment. The programme also offers training courses in computer skills with WSQ certification, general administrative skills, phone skills, and work preparation training. Eligible applicants undergo vocational training and employment planning assessments. The programme is fully subsidised for Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents aged 16 and above with permanent physical and/or sensory disabilities who are motivated and fit for open employment.

Singapore citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents aged 16 and above with permanent physical and/or sensory disabilities, certified fit for work if necessary, able to commit to at least one year of open employment, and motivated to seek open employment.
