Credit Counselling Singapore provides financial counselling, debt advice, and education to individuals and business owners facing unsecured debt problems, with facilitation of a Debt Management Programme where suitable. It also offers talks, workshops, bankruptcy support, and RAS-related assistance.

Overview

  • Provides credit counselling for consumers (with personal debts) and business owners (with both personal and/or business debts) to help address an unsecured debt problem.
  • Financial Counsellors will provide holistic, objective and personalised debt advices to help consumers or business owners understand their financial situation, assess payment capacity, and decide on the most suitable course of action to address debt and cashflow issues.

Eligibility details

  • Consumers with personal debts and business owners with both personal and/or business debts.
  • Facing financial difficulties in repaying unsecured personal loans, credit cards or business borrowings.

How to apply

  • To request for credit counselling, you must first attend an information talk on Debt Management (conducted via webinar or in-person talks). After attending CCS Debt Management Information talk or webinar. At the end of the talk/webinar, follow the instructions provided to download a Counselling Request Form in PDF format.
  • To request for a business debt advising and credit counselling session, you must first attend an information talk on Business Debt Management (conducted via webinar).
  • Register via website. Contact Credit Counselling Singapore by phone or email to enquire and arrange a counselling session.
