MTFA Bursary
Overview
MTFA awards bursaries using the Zakat funds collected for the Hijrah year. The aim of this bursary is to provide financial support for Muslim students from low-income families who are pursuing Primary and Secondary school education.

Eligibility details
Nationality: Must be a Muslim Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident. Education: Must be a full-time student enrolled in a public or recognized private learning institution*. Income (Higher Education)*: For ITE, Diploma, and University students, the household Per Capita Income (PCI) must not exceed $700. Income (Primary & Secondary): For Primary and Secondary students, the bursary is tied to the main Financial Assistance (FA) application. The household PCI must not exceed $600.
*Tertiary students who are graduating in the current year are not eligible.

Primary & Secondary: Open Year-Round. Must be submitted together with the Main Parent Financial Assistance (FA) application. ITE, Diploma, A-Level and Pre-U: During May each year University: During the month of July each year
