Overview

Reach for the Stars (RFTS) is an enrichment programme by Children’s Wishing Well that enables children and youths from low-income families to explore and develop their interests and strengths through structured classes. It opens doors to opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach, helping participants build skills, confidence, and aspirations.

Key features:

  • Provides sponsored enrichment lessons across diverse disciplines (e.g., visual arts, coding, hip hop dance, football, music)
  • Individual sponsorships cover course fees so participation is free-of-charge for beneficiaries
  • Annual review of participation based on the child/youth’s interest, motivation, and progress to ensure committed learners continue to be supported

Eligibility details

Children and youths from families with limited access to enrichment opportunities (low-income). Continued participation is reviewed annually based on demonstrated interest, motivation, and progress.

How to apply

Submit an interest/enrolment form via the organisation’s Enrolment page. Prepare and provide the required documents (MOE FAS Approval Letter, Concession Pass, latest report results, and completed CEP/YEP Registration form). The team will contact you within a few working days. For queries, contact the Clementi or Bukit Merah centres by phone during office hours.
