Overview

ENabling Resilience Intervention for CHildren (ENRICH) is a 12-month mental health intervention programme designed to help children aged 7 to 11 with emotional issues and mental health symptoms such as anxiety, depression, academic and family stresses. The programme aims to improve children's resilience and coping strategies while strengthening family relationships through individual counselling, parenting sessions, and family sessions. It involves an intake assessment and ongoing support from a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Sessions are conducted fortnightly or monthly at TOUCH's Bukit Merah or Toa Payoh offices. The programme is chargeable with subsidies available based on means testing.

Eligibility details

Children aged 7 to 11 with emotional issues and mental health symptoms such as academic and family stresses, anxiety, and/or depression. Eligibility is subject to an intake assessment evaluating the child's emotional state, family atmosphere, school and social background, and psycho-emotional development. Screening tools measure the intensity and impact of the child's emotional issues.

After enquiry, an intake assessment will be arranged to assess needs and determine suitability. If successful, a caseworker will be assigned to guide the child and family through the 12-month programme.
