Overview
The Singapore Teochew Foundation Limited (STF) provides short-term financial assistance to Singaporeans, with priority given to those in the Teochew community, who are facing financial hardship or require special financial help.
The STF Hardship Assistance Scheme supports families who have lost their sole or main breadwinner due to unforeseen circumstances, offering supplementary financial aid for up to 6 months.
Assistance is tailored to individual cases and may include:
- Sponsorship for medical equipment
- Living expenses
- Other urgent needs

Eligibility details
Open to all Singaporeans, with priority for Teochew families or individuals. Applicants must have lost the support of their sole or main breadwinner due to unforeseen circumstances, or be unable to receive adequate support from family, friends, social welfare agencies, or the government. Assistance is provided for up to 6 consecutive months and is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
