Eligibility details

  • Applicant must be an NTUC union member with at least 6 months of continuous paid-up membership at the point of application and must not be in arrears.
  • For applicants with family members staying in the same household in Singapore: Total Monthly Gross Household

Income of $4,300 and below, OR Per Capita Income of $1,075 and below if Gross Household Income exceeds $4,300.

  • For applicants without family members staying in the same household in Singapore: Monthly Gross Personal Income of $1,850 and below.
  • Applicant must not have received this grant before
  • Hardship must be due to one of the following non-industrial circumstances: death; total/partial and permanent incapacity; serious chronic medical condition (not pre-existing before membership); or being a registered fire or flood victim

How to apply

  • Application opens from 8 April 2026, 1200hrs to 30 November 2026, 1600hrs
  • Members who meet the eligibility criteria may submit their applications via OneCARE at https://care.ntuc.org.sg/assistance/
