A fully funded, VR-enhanced mental health literacy workshop for secondary school students, teaching core mental health concepts and practical well-being strategies. Delivered on-site in schools in Singapore at no cost.

Overview

An award-winning mental health literacy programme designed for secondary school students, combining adventure-based experiential learning with immersive VR.

  • Three-hour workshop delivered in schools, using a five-station format to explore topics such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and self-harm
  • Includes a 10-minute “Choose Your Own Story” virtual reality experience focused on anxiety
  • Equips students with foundational knowledge of mental health and practical strategies to maintain overall well-being
  • Conducted in groups of up to one class (no more than 40 students per group), with a minimum of 80 students required per session
  • Fully funded and offered free of charge to schools in Singapore
  • Recognised with an outstanding award at the 2022 Wofoo Asian Awards for innovative youth mental health outreach

Eligibility details

Students aged 13 to 17 in secondary schools (including equivalent age category in international schools) in Singapore. A minimum of 80 students is required to run each session.

Schools can arrange a session by emailing mentalhealth@touch.org.sg to request details and scheduling. All participants are required to complete pre- and post-programme surveys.
