Overview
The Greenhouse provides a comprehensive recovery and support centre for individuals overcoming trauma and addiction, using a Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual model. Services include peer support programs, counselling, case management, community activities, complementary therapies, and training workshops for community leaders and healthcare providers. The centre offers intake assessments, trauma-informed 12-step meetings, SMART recovery meetings, individual counselling, family support, and referrals to medical care. It also runs workshops to support marginalised and vulnerable communities and conducts research to improve care quality. Services are delivered by trained peer supporters and counselling interns, many of whom are beneficiaries of the programmes themselves.
