PowerUP Playtime
PowerUP Playtime provides KidSTART families with a PlayFULL Pack and hands-on workshops to support early learning through play for children aged 0–6. It builds parents’ confidence to teach and engage their children at home.
Overview
- PowerUP Playtime is a KidSTART Singapore initiative (in partnership with SP Group) that strengthens early learning through play for children aged 0–6.
- The programme equips parents to be their child’s first teacher, focusing on early literacy and holistic development at home.
- Families receive a PlayFULL Pack with sensory books, imaginative toys, craft materials, and a PlayFULL Guide to support cognitive, language, and motor skills.
- A series of age-appropriate workshops (e.g., pretend play, storytelling) help parents learn practical ways to communicate, play, and support learning using items from the pack.
- Activities are family-centered, hands-on, and designed to make playtime fun, enriching, and confidence-building for parents and children.

- Sign up to be a KidSTART Family via https://go.gov.sg/beakidstartfamily. 2) Once enrolled, look out for KidSTART communications on receiving the PlayFULL Pack and upcoming PowerUP Playtime workshops. 3) Register for relevant workshops as announced.
