Overview
The HOPE programme supports families facing:
- Unemployment
- Financial difficulties
- Parenting challenges
- Relationship issues
- Broken marriages
It offers:
- Life skills training
- Counselling
- Financial and crisis management workshops
- Child befriending and mentoring
- Academic assistance for at-risk children
- Weekly distribution of rescued food and vegetables
Courses and workshops are held throughout the year based on demand.

What you receive
Eligibility details
Families struggling with unemployment, financial difficulties, parenting issues, interpersonal relationships, or broken marriages. For volunteers: good interpersonal skills, caring, patient, firm, and willing to commit. For counselling: recognised professional qualifications in counselling or social work. For tuition: familiar with MOE syllabus, GCE A-level holders and above, minimum pass in subjects offered. For workshops: expertise/experience in conducting workshops for parents. For child mentoring: young adults willing to serve monthly for at least 6 months and enjoy interacting with children.
