MINDS Caregivers Support Services
MINDS provides a suite of caregiver and family support services for persons with intellectual disability in Singapore, including respite, befriending, planning support, student care, and peer groups. Programmes span children to adults and help caregivers connect, recharge and plan for the future.

Comprehensive caregiver support by MINDS for families of persons with intellectual disability (ID), offering practical help, connection, and respite across life stages:

- Befriending Service for one-to-one social engagement at home or in the community
- Customised Respite Care that keeps loved ones meaningfully engaged (activity kits and assistive tools) while caregivers take a break
- Supported Transition and Engagement Programme (STEP) for school leavers awaiting admission to adult services, plus caregiver workshops on self-care and planning
- MINDS Care Circle: a flexible peer support network across online/offline platforms, with talks, resources, recreation and structured workshops
- Dad’s Awesome: shared activities for fathers and their children with ID to bond and build community
- MINDSibs: psychoeducation and peer support for siblings aged 7+ through age-appropriate activities and bonding sessions
- Me Too! Club: inclusive community activities led by volunteers, providing socialisation for persons with ID and respite for caregivers
- MINDS MYG: volunteer-led weekend befriending, gentle physical activities, enrichment and social events for persons with ID
