ComCare Long Term Assistance (LTA)
Long-term financial aid for those unable to work.
Overview
ComCare Long Term Assistance (LTA) provides monthly cash assistance and support for medical expenses to individuals who are permanently unable to work due to old age, illness, or disability, and lack adequate family support or savings.
Eligible recipients also receive free or highly subsidised access to social support services.
Assistance rates vary by household size and will increase from April 2025.

Eligibility details
Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents who are unable to work due to old age, illness, or disability; elderly persons with small monthly payouts from sources such as CPF Retirement Sum/CPF Life; elderly persons whose children are low income (monthly household income per capita of $800 and below).
How to apply
Apply at any Social Service Office. Provide updated bank account passbooks/statements for all household members (latest 1 month), identity card or birth certificate for all household members, latest utility bills, medical certificate, pay-slips/employment contract, employment/termination letter, insurance letter, and any other relevant supporting documents. For online applications, login via Singpass and NRIC/FIN is not required if previously submitted.
