d'Klub Mentoring Programme

A free Saturday mentoring and small-group tuition programme for Primary 3–6 students from low-income families, run by Care Community Services Society across multiple neighbourhood centres. It builds children’s academic support, social-emotional skills, and resilience with volunteer role models and community activities.

Overview

Free community-based mentoring programme for primary school children from disadvantaged families living near d’Klub centres.

  • Weekly sessions led by volunteer mentors to inspire children to discover, develop and display their potential and build resilience
  • Two-hour Saturday sessions: 1 hour of small group tuition plus 1 hour of games or character-building activities
  • Fun-learning and group sports to encourage positive peer interaction and social-emotional skills
  • Annual Games Day and bi-annual Parents’ Day to engage children and families
  • Positive role modelling by volunteers to improve behaviour, confidence and relationships
  • Referrals to relevant social assistance schemes where needed
  • Operates at multiple community locations across Singapore

Eligibility details

Primary 3 to 6 students who qualify for MOE’s Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS). To continue in the programme, students must maintain at least 80% attendance each year.
