SUSS Student Care Fund
Overview
The SUSS Student Care Fund aims to provide contingency financial grant for students facing sudden or immediate financial hardship, arising from unexpected family and life situations. The fund is made possible through the generosity of a group of donors. By alleviating financial stress, it enables students to focus on their academic journey and personal development.

Eligibility details
To qualify, you must be a current SUSS undergraduate or graduate student who requires assistance with living expenses due to sudden occurrence of any of the following by the main income contributor and/or co-contributor. Qualifying situations include:
- Retrenchment, involuntary no-pay leave, dismissal, or layoff
- Demise
- Debilitating health issues
- Incidents which affect main and/or co-contributor’s ability to provide income and/or sudden increase in essential living expenses
- Other hardship circumstances to be assessed on a case-by-case basis
How to apply
Applications are open year-round. To apply, submit your online application and attach the necessary supporting documents (e.g., medical bills, death certificate, or company retrenchment letters) via the official portal. Please note: applications submitted after December 15 of an Academic Year will be considered for the following January semester.
