CWS Soulfull Programme
Catholic Welfare Services provides holistic social assistance and casework support, including referrals and an education bursary, to help individuals and families achieve stability and independence.
Overview
The CWS Soulfull Programme (formerly the Food Rations Assistance Programme) was launched in 2021 as a befriending initiative for the community in need, including seniors living alone, persons with disabilities, or those who are socially isolated.
- Under Soulfull, clients are paired up with volunteer befrienders, who purchase and deliver groceries of the clients’ choosing to their homes each month.
- Soulfull Befrienders also endeavour to connect and engage with clients, providing them with a warm and welcoming outlet for social interaction.
- Soulfull organises regular gatherings and events for clients to come together as a community.
- Soulfull celebrated key festive occasions with clients and befrienders through both large gatherings and home-delivered treats.
- As at 31 March 2025, the Soulfull Programme serves a total of 30 clients, supported by 60 volunteer befrienders.
