Active Ageing Centres (AACs) are social recreational centres supporting seniors in the community through:

  • Physical, mental, and social health programmes
  • Home visits
  • Health screenings
  • Connection to services

Programmes include:

  • Exercise
  • Cognitive games
  • Social activities
  • Lifelong learning
  • Volunteering

Vulnerable seniors receive:

  • Regular check-ins
  • Emotional support

Centres also assist with Health Plan activities and monitor progress after hospital discharge.
