Heartware – Character & Citizenship Education Leadership Programme

The Heartware – Character and Citizenship Education Leadership Programme is an experiential youth leadership development initiative that connects students with social service organisations to engage in community problem solving and sustainable project design. It includes learning journeys, inspirational series, community projects, and professional attachments to broaden youths' vocational horizons. The programme also fosters volunteerism through Youthbank and other national and community projects. Heartware Academy supports youth volunteer development through training, facilitation, content creation, and leadership roles, aiming to build a self-sustaining cycle of youth volunteers and leaders. The East Coast Sustainable Youth Leadership Development Programme, launched in collaboration with East Coast GRC, develops 1000 youth leaders with skills in community engagement and befriending to uplift the East Coast community through projects focused on Care, Green, and Vibrant themes.
