Overview

Chen Su Lan Methodist Children's Home (CSLMCH) provides residential care, shelter, protection, and holistic support to children aged 5 to 16 years old who come from needy, disadvantaged, broken, dysfunctional, or abusive families. The Home offers trauma-informed care, professional counselling, academic support, spiritual guidance, and enrichment programmes to nurture and develop the children. It also works towards reunifying children safely with their families when possible, or providing long-term care until they reach adulthood or alternative fostering arrangements are made.

Eligibility details

  • Children aged 5 to 16 for admission (residents may remain up to 21 as appropriate).
  • Typically from needy/disadvantaged situations, including family breakdown, dysfunction or abuse; accepted when no family members or foster parents can care for them.
  • Admission strictly by referral from Family Service Centres, the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), or by Court Order. No direct admissions.
