Enhancement for Active Seniors (EASE)
HDB’s EASE programme subsidises the installation of safety and accessibility features in HDB flats to help seniors and residents with mobility needs live safely at home. It provides items like grab bars, ramps, door widening, slip-resistant treatment, shower seats, and HFADs at subsidised rates.

The EASE programme provides subsidies for installing mobility and safety improvement items in HDB flats.
It is available as part of the Home Improvement Programme (HIP),
or through direct application if your block does not qualify for HIP
or if you want the items installed earlier.

Eligibility details
Singapore Citizen households (sold flats) and Registered Tenants (rental flats) may apply for EASE (Direct Application) if the household has a family member who is either: (1) aged 65 years and above; or (2) aged 60–64 years and requires assistance with at least one Activity of Daily Living (e.g., washing/bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility, transferring). Items are installed only where technically feasible.
